Members' Gallery: Ray Beaumont

A Kodak Brownie 127 camera was my starting point in photography at the age of seven. These days I have a varied collection of cameras and work in my own fully equipped studio.
My personal photography is all film based. I like to produce monochrome prints, cyanotypes, and gum bichromates. I have been playing with the Bromoil Process on and off for a few years, but have recently decided to make a concerted effort to improve my technique and picture quality.
I am currently teaching photography and with some European funding have set up a darkroom. The classes have gone well culminating in small exhibitions embracing monochrome film photography as well as digital imaging.
